



TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All pupils must be in possession of a signed U. K. Provisional Driving License for Group ‘B’ Cars on commencement of the training. They must also be able to see a minimum of 21 metres either with or without glasses
1) All fees include insurance cover whilst driving the School vehicle, (provided the pupil is licensed to drive). And is accompanied by, or under the direction of a Driving Standards Agency A.D.I. (Car) or on a Driving Test with an approved DSA Examiner(s).
2) PhilipsDrivingSchool.com currently charges £21 per hour (concessions apply) for a manual car. All hourly driving lessons are subject to a minimum 2 working days (48 hours) notice for any cancellations. Weekly Driving courses 3 weeks = 15 working days notice is required. The School retains the right to charge the full tuition/lesson fee, if the above notice is not given.
3) The lesson will be for a minimum of 1 hour’s duration if for any reason the instructor is running late he will make a concerted effort to inform the pupil of his estimated time of arrival. Should the delay be greater than 15 minutes this time will be adjusted either by holding to credit or extending the next suitable lesson, this will be made at the instructors own discretion. Driving lessons will be conducted on a one to one basis. A record of progress will be kept by the pupil.
4) On the day of the test a 2 hour lesson must be booked to allow for the test itself and a warm up period. During the warm up session both the pupil and the instructor will check that all bulbs required for the ‘Show me tell me’ questions are working correctly. Should a bulb blow on the test every endeavour will be made by the instructor to replace the bulb in good time, in the event of replacement being unsuccessful the school will not be held liable for any test fees lost as a result.
5) If on the day of your test is cancelled by the DSA due to bad weather sickness or staff shortages the school will charge for test time.
6) Where possible lessons will be allocated for the same time every week. Constant changes in your lesson time may mean you will not be able to continue on the old time slot and will be reallocated another time and day.
7) We will abide by the Code of Practice and any complaint or dispute will be conducted under those guide lines.
8) We reserve the right to change or alter any of the terms and conditions without notice, but will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible.
9) We accept payment by cash or cheque only. Lessons must be paid for either on the day* or by advanced block bookings, details of discounts for advanced block booking are available on request. Cheques are payable to Philip Warters
